Happy Friday!!! This is
They won’t necessarily be actual reviews of products but more like recommendations of things I’ve either used or am still using in my day-to-day life that have really worked out for me. I do understand that everyone is different and that not all of the products will produce the same results or even bring the same amount of joy that they have brought me. So for that reason, I’ll be including a little about me in each and every post in hopes that it will help you decide for yourself if it’s something that you would like to try out.
Only time will tell if this series will stick to just beauty products or if I decide to include other categories. If you are interested in what I use for certain things or even if you’re just plain nosy – comment down below and I will be sure to let you know (if or) what products I use, in my next Friday Favorites! 😁
But for now, my very first product is – my favorite facial cleanser! I use the Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Facial Cleanser. I have been using this specific cleanser for years. I honestly don’t remember why I first bought this one, I think I must’ve just picked it out at random a really long time ago but I am so so glad I did because I have not found another cleanser that takes my makeup off – including all of my mascara, and doesn’t make my face feel like it’s drying out! I’m seriously in love.
So a little bit about my skin… I do have combination skin – I did even back when I first started using this in high school and junior high. Now, this isn’t something I used for acne or any zits or pimples (don’t worry – I’ll get to that eventually), but I do feel that because it took my makeup off extremely well, I had less product residue left on my face to cause any acne. Another reason why I really love this product is that it is 90% naturally derived. I’ve been reading more and more about processed foods and chemicals and things that really shouldn’t be in or on our bodies – so I’m delighted to say that it contains NO: harsh chemical sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, dyes, or phthalates!
Back when I was working in jewelry, we had special jewelry cleaner that we were supposed to use with our ultrasonic but that particular jewelry cleaner not only stunk – it dried my hands out like crazy. I was so fed up, and I finally just decided to bring a bottle of this facial cleanser to use and it worked like a charm! So I used this on all my fine jewelry at home and at work before I got real jewelry cleaner that I love (and you can read about here).
The price for this is spot-on, sitting at just below $10 USD and you can find it pretty much anywhere – Walmart, Target, Rite-Aid, etc. I highly, highly recommend you try this out if you haven’t found one that you like already. The only thing I do have to say about it, is that it can burn your eyes if you’re not careful – not too, too bad, but I’m sure it’ll sting a little bit (this goes without saying though – I don’t think very many products are actually meant to go into your eyeballs). But other than that, it works great and smells amazing!
Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope your Friday goes by fast and that your weekend lasts as long as it possibly can!
