Happy Friday everyone! Today I wanted to talk about the BabyBum Diaper Brush.
So, I thought this was such a silly purchase to make until I (obviously) bought it. And it has been one of the single most useful things we’ve used since having Lily.
Now, I’m not someone who minds using my fingers when I have to, nor am I afraid of touching my baby’s bottom… The first thing that came to mind was actually my husband. He works as an automotive technician so he comes across a lot of chemicals, and like many technicians he’s got
But that, automatically makes this worth it’s weight in gold to us… He would never have to touch our baby’s little bottom with his fingers. And ladies, if you like longer nails… It’ll keep any diaper balm from getting caught underneath your fingernails (this is actually a pet peeve of mine, short nails or not)! Another reason that I really liked this product is that because you don’t ever need to stick your fingers into the jar of diaper balm, so the jar and its contents stay clean of bacteria.
It’s made of a super soft and gentle silicone literally perfect for your baby’s bottom and so that you can easily wash it or – in a pinch – you can use a baby wipe to clean off any diaper balm!
The one linked is the one I personally have, and while it’s the shorter version, neither my husband – who has larger hands – or I, have a hard time using it. And it comes with a carrying case perfect for when we need to toss it into the diaper bag. (If you’re curious as to what we carry with us on a regular basis, see my most recent what’s in my diaper bag post here!)
All versions of this diaper brush also come with suction bottoms which I’ve found to be really useful so you don’t have to set it down if you don’t have a clean area to do so on or if it’s currently in use.
This would seriously make such a good gift for any new mom, you can certainly live without it but I highly recommend you don’t!
