Surprise! We’re officially trying for baby #2!
We are so excited and extremely hopeful that God will bless us with a second baby. I’ve thought long and hard about making this decision. I prayed for months that He would give me clarity on all the things I wanted out of life.
In case you missed it, I explained a little bit about how I came to my decision and why I’ve decided to share so publicly about this matter in a recent life update video on my YouTube channel. Feel free to follow me there if you want to keep up because I will be sharing if and when I find out I’m pregnant as well as the rest of the journey!
But also, I recently shared my knowledge about folic acid and how it can affect someone who might have a variation of the MTHFR gene mutation – especially when folic acid is so highly recommended for pregnant women. I’ve saved it on my Instagram stories under health talks if you’d like to go back and watch it. Maybe I’ll write a dedicated blog post about it so it’s on here too.
I was asked about what supplements I take during my pregnancy and while I’m trying to conceive. This is what really led me to share a little bit more about this and how I’ll be implementing Erin’s midwives fertility protocol (she’s @essentiallyerin__ on Instagram). Erin happens to be my upline for doTERRA, she’s a mom of 3 babies with her 4th due soon. She’s also a registered nurse who speaks her truth. She is incredibly inspiring and I highly suggest you give her a follow – just keep an open mind about everything she has to say…
For this blog post, I decided to make a video explaining everything because I feel like it would be too long written down. I might break them up into blog posts later, but I wanted a chance to explain how we’re preparing to try to conceive and what we’re using. PLEASE keep in mind that this is a very personal and delicate subject… It is not intended for all audiences.
Here is a list of everything we’re using:
- Fertility Supplements
- Pregnancy & Ovulation Tests
- Lena Cup
- Pregnancy Supplements
If you have questions or any other tips you’d like to share, feel free to put them in the comments below. I hope that if you’re also currently on your own TTC journey and maybe it’s been a while, I pray that you don’t lose hope. I know this journey isn’t easy and perhaps you’ve even experienced loss. Just know that I am so sorry and I wish that I could give you a hug. I don’t pretend to know what loss or even infertility is like, but I do know the longing… I promise you though, that all your efforts and the time you’ve waited will be so worth it.
